I am at the Gaya Island Resort now. Did not have high expectations to begin with, but surprisingly the snorkelling is not bad. The best snorkelling is around the jetty and towards the right of the jetty in the direction towards the Gayana. Plenty of tropical fish, sea urchins, saw some anemones, brain coral and in the deeper water a school of large fish.
